When you play a game of roulette, you need to know that there are many different bets you can place. Remember that the most difficult bets to win are the ones that give you the worst winning chances. According to roulette rules, a player can place as many bets as he wants. There are many of them, those that can be placed at group of numbers, bets that are placed according to the color of the pocket, bets placed on one number only. Inside bets: these are the bets you place on the numbers that are on the inside design of the layout. Inside bets usually have low winning chances.

Outside bets: these are placed on the gambling area that surrounds the numbers. Remember that the layouts vary from table to table but you only have to place the bet on the numbers you want.

The layout of the numbers is twelve rows by three columns with the single and double zero in one of the ends.

The inside bets are as follows:

• When you bet on a single number you have to put the counter in the number you want and if you win you will be paid 35/1.
• When you bet on two numbers you have to put the counters on line that separates the numbers you want and if you win you get 17/1.
• When you bet on four numbers you have to place the counters on the crossing of the horizontal and vertical lines of the four numbers you want and if you win you get 8/1.
• When you place your bet on three numbers you have to put the counter on the line of the three numbers you want and if you win you get 11/1.
• When you place your bet on five contiguous numbers you have to put the counter on the line of the numbers you want and if you win you get 6/1.
• When you place your bet on six contiguous numbers you have to put the counter on the line of the numbers you want and if you win you get 5/1.

Outside Bets

The outside bets are as follows:

• Dozens: you can place this bet on the first twelve numbers, the second twelve or the third twelve numbers. You have to put your counter outside the number design and you get 2/1.
• Odd or even: you can place your bet either on all the odd numbers or on all the even numbers. You have to put your counter outside the number design and you get even money.
• Red or black: you can bet on all the red numbers or on all the black numbers. You have to put your counter outside the number design and get even money.
